Image Sampler in Grasshopper

In our “Generative Algorithms” reading this week, the thing that really caught my attention was the image sampler function. I feel like I could potentially use this function in Grasshopper to revisualize data imagery (if that makes sense) and then further manipulate it in the program. I don’t know precisely what kinds of inputs I could use for it quite yet, but knowing that this thing exists is exciting to me. This is kind of what I meant in a previous post when I said that often I won’t know I have an idea for how to use a given technology until I even know the technology exists in the first place–I had no idea that this function existed in Grasshopper, but now that I do, I’m starting to have all kinds of ideas for it.
